Day 180 – Happy 1st Birthday to me!
Yes today’s the day! One year ago I started with my first post. Since then, I’ve become addicted to stats, while logging over 7500 views, and hitting 160 views on my busiest day this month. I’ve covered Thoughts, Musings, and Dreams. Success and Failure. Frustrations and Celebrations. Passions such as Photography, Cooking and France. Dieting and Detoxing, Knitting and keeping chickens. Two job changes at C&A and my extra-curricular new adventure at REcircle (our Non profit re-use centre). Visual stuff that inspires me, and things that made me laugh and cry. I’ve talked about my Family and Friends, and even signed myself up (and stayed true) to my New Years Resolution of a Blog a Day.
Thanks for reading, and an extra thanks to Hubbie and Kids for putting up with my continual addiction to the Internet, and sometimes trying to understand it and support it. My 3 Musketeers! XXX
So just for old times sake, here’s my very first post, one year ago.
Sat behind my computer I wonder how I am going to go forward with this blog. It’s already past midnight, the kids are curled up in bed, and as usual I have spent way too long surfing the net instead of doing the tidying up. Guilt will kick in later as my beloved is in Holland working his butt off getting our first holiday home ready to rent out. While here am I, cosily contemplating what to write when I should be unpacking the ton of boxes shipped from holland to brussels in the back of the workhorse volvo. (you see, everyone else in the family is working hard – even the car). Does my attempt at gooseberry jam count tonight? Is it worth a mention? And why does it always go pink??
These are just a few of the things that keep me awake at night………the remaining gooseberries, anyone for crumble tomorrow?

Fast forward to today, it’s approaching midnight as I finish this blog, and this time Hubbie is away in France working! Some things never change!

It’s been great to see the joy that this year of blogging has brought you.. Not always easy for the three Musketeers but a pleasure to read..
